Chapter 31 Church
Chapter 31 The Church
Two days passed quickly, and Selsi and Aurelia leaned against the railing, waiting to dock.
After getting off the boat, the afterglow of the sunset embraced the city, and the shadows hurriedly came into the sunlight, turning and sinking into the darkness.
Selsi and Aurelia were one in front and one behind, and their shadows blended together, indistinguishable from each other.
A piece of yellow paper danced with the wind. Fate made it wait here for a long time. It flew towards the port without looking back, blocking the sight of one of the two protagonists.
"This is... your wanted order."
Selsi grabbed the yellow paper, and the sound seemed to have never been made, not letting the sea breeze leak a bit.
Aurelia looked down at the tattered wanted order and said, "Go to the bar."
She wanted to see what the situation was now.
On the way to the bar, the church's wanted orders for the black-haired, red-eyed devil could be seen everywhere.
Just before entering the bar, Selsi pulled Aurelia and turned into the alley next to it.
"Who did you kill?" Selsi grabbed Aurelia's collar and forced her to look her in the eye.
Aurelia did not dodge and said openly, "Damn people - those tyrannical and evil people."
The dark blue and dark green intertwined and disappeared at the same time. Selsi's answer was confirmed in her heart. She loosened her grip on the collar, helped her smooth it out, and then led her into the tavern.
"That's a demon."
The bartender talked about the monster he had never seen before, and his fear was revealed in his trembling voice.
Selsi was very talkative and quickly became familiar with the relationship in the tavern. When they talked about the monster, their expressions were complicated. They were grateful to her for getting rid of a scourge, but her method of killing made them terrified. Who could guarantee that she only killed evil people? Besides, it was rumored that several good people died in her hands.
Selsi looked at Aurelia, and Aurelia mouthed "hypocrisy" to her.
They got enough information in the tavern, and when they came out, the stars were dotted in the night sky.
Aurelia found a hotel while Selsi was talking. Now they just need to rest well and wait for the tough battle that is about to begin.
The morning sun drove away the lonely night with irresistible momentum, and Selsi and Aurelia stepped out of the hotel.
The church bells rang through the air.
"Today is Sunday."
Selsi poked Aurelia, "Are you going?"
Aurelia thought of the bishop who injured her. She didn't want to confront her head-on again. The light power she mastered was specifically for her shadow power. But she was a little unwilling to let her go.
"Go."
After hesitating for a long time, she decided to see what the enemy was like before deciding to act.
Now they are in the dark, the enemy is in the light, and the advantage is mine.
Sitting in the church, today the bishop came to sing praises to the God of Light in person. Selsi was listening to the hymn in the audience. She was a rare atheist, perhaps because she had heard too many hymns and had seen too many disasters that were not solved by God.
Aurelia observed the state of this old rival. The light power in her body felt much weaker than before, which was good news for her.
As soon as Lisandra entered the church, she felt the familiar breath. She scanned the church and located the source of the breath.
"It's her. I didn't expect she would dare to come back."
Lisandra kept a compassionate smile on her face.
"If it were before, I would definitely be able to... but now..." She was thinking about how to kill this demon in her heart, "Fortunately, the saint is here too."
Lisandra was confident that she could definitely kill the demon here this time.
But in addition to this breath, there was another breath that attracted her attention, the breath of nature.
Lisandra moved her eyes to Selsi, "Her natural power is very strong, but how could she be entangled with this demon?"
Lisandra concluded that it was the demon who seduced this child of nature. The power of nature is the most rare ability on this continent, and only a very small number of people who are extremely close to nature can have it.
This demon is really evil, and she wants to save her from her hands.
After the service, the bishop came to Selsi, hoping to talk to her alone.
Selsi didn't know what the other party was going to do, but she didn't have any bad intentions, so it wouldn't hurt to stay and see.
She turned her head and motioned Aurelia to go out first. Aurelia was not worried that the bishop would hurt Selsie. Although she had injured her, she knew that the bishop was a truly good person who just couldn't stand a demon like her.
When Aurelia passed by Lisandra, their eyes met and then quickly separated.
Aurelia knew that the other party had recognized her. Ha, the dog's nose was very sensitive. But now was not the time to take action.
Aurelia walked out of the church and found a shady place to ask people for more information about Lisandra. The most important thing was why her breath was weaker than before.
She told the people passing by that she had received Lisandra's favor before, and now she had achieved some success. She came here to repay her kindness and wanted to know why her benefactor looked so much weaker than before. When
the passers-by heard that she was also a person who had received the favor of Bishop Lisandra, they quickly let down their guard and replied that Bishop Lisandra had wiped out a large nest of high-level demons not long ago, but her body was greatly affected by it.
Aurelia felt happy in her heart, but she echoed them in praising the bishop's righteousness.
Aurelia continued to get information about the bishop, while in the church, the fox was arguing with the stone.
