Chapter 411: Reading

Ticonderoga was curled up on the sofa playing with his cell phone. When he saw Su Xia walk into the living room, he immediately raised his hand.
"Admiral, you are finally here. I have been waiting for you for a long time."
Su Xia looked at the blonde girl, hesitated for a moment, and said, "Do we have a date?"
"Didn't we agree to read together tonight?" Ticonderoga held up the book he had placed in his arms.
"Who are you?" Su Xia said.
"I'm Hancock," said Ticonderoga, again playing pretend.
"Even if you let your hair down... don't you think there's a huge difference in your figure with Hancock?" Su Xia looked at Ticonderoga, then looked at Hancock, who was sitting next to Ticonderoga and didn't say a word even when Ticonderoga was pretending to be her. Although they were sisters, the two of them really had quite a big difference in figure .
Ticonderoga looked at Hancock, then lowered his head and looked at himself, crossed his arms, and said, "The difference is not that big. The most is... her butt is bigger than mine. Obviously, I am the older sister."
Su Xia hesitated to speak, and said, "As a girl, can you please not be so direct?"
"What's the big deal?" Ticonderoga said nonchalantly, "You still owe me a bath."
Su Xia felt a little headache.
Essex sat on the side chair and greeted quietly: "Admiral, you are here."
"I'm here." Su Xia said, "I promised Hancock that I would read with her tonight."
Su Xia looked around and asked, "Where is the Sixteenth Lady?"
Ticonderoga replied: "I don't know."
"I saw her going to Iowa," said Essex.
Su Xia nodded, without commenting. He was just a little curious about CV-16's whereabouts.
Su Xia sat next to Hancock and said, "It seems like we're a little late."
"It's okay." Hancock said, "We just agreed to read together tonight, but we didn't agree on a time... The admiral is not late."
Su Xia explained: "I helped everyone clean up the cafeteria."
"Um."
Su Xia did not continue to explain. The key point was what happened next. He looked at the book that Hancock had spread out on her sexy, plump thighs and said, "Although I said I would read with you, I really can't read English."
Hancock closed the book and said, "Chinese is fine... Admiral, you can read any book you want... I just want to read with you."
Su Xia looked at Hancock, without any special expression even when she said those words that could easily make people shy.
"Why are you looking at me like that, Admiral?" Hancock said, "Am I wrong?"
"Why do I keep looking at Hancock? Because Hancock is good-looking." Su Xia said. For some reason, she wanted to see the cold Hancock blush. However, that level of compliment would not make Hancock blush . "You just said that I can read any book I want...really?"
Hancock nodded.
Su Xia thought about it, and he remembered the novels Xiao Hua read. He couldn't help but laugh. Forget about "The Admiral Meets the Evil Ship Girl". He felt embarrassed to read out the title. He said, "How about "The Most Poisonous Initial Ship: The Powerful Naval Base"?"
"Yes," Hancock said. "It's a good book."
After Hancock said that, Su Xia was a little confused and asked, "Have you read that book?"
“I have.”
"You actually read that kind of book..."
"What kind of book is that?"
"It's just a romance novel."
"Why can't I watch it?"
"It's OK... but... I don't know how to put it."
"I don't understand..." Hancock said, "Omaha recommended it to me. I took a look and found it quite interesting. But there are many illogical parts."
"And then?" Su Xia was convinced. Are you indifferent to the cold? "What other books did Hancock read?"
"'The Domineering Admiral, Hug Me', 'The Devil Admiral', 'The Admiral Is a Little Cold'..." Hancock said seriously, giving Su Xia goose bumps all over her body, "'The Admiral Is Jealous Every Day' was recommended to me by Ticonderoga."
Su Xia looked at Ticonderoga. Ticonderoga did not have the same self-control as Hancock. She was very embarrassed to read romance novels at such an old age. She defended herself, "Admiral, don't look at me... I'm not, I don't have it."
Hancock asked, "Would the Admiral like to read those books?"
"No." Su Xia refused decisively.
Hancock said, "Didn't the Admiral just say that he wanted to read the book "The Most Poisonous Initial Ship: The Powerful Garrison"? "
"I'm kidding."
"So what book would you like to read, Admiral?"
Su Xia noticed that Ticonderoga was staring at him. He was silent for a long time and then said, "How about One Hundred Years of Solitude?"
Ticonderoga laughed: "Admiral, do you still want to read One Hundred Years of Solitude?"
"What's the problem?" Su Xia said calmly, "It's not like I haven't read One Hundred Years of Solitude. I still remember the first line of the book - many years later, when Colonel Aureliano Buendia stood in front of the firing squad, he would definitely think of that distant afternoon when his father took him to see ice."
Ticonderoga sat on the sofa, hugged his knees, and said, "You only remember that one sentence."
Su Xia really only remembered that one sentence.
Su Xia ignored Ticonderoga and continued, "My favorite line from A Tale of Two Cities is: It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness... We are heading for Heaven, and we are also going straight to Hell."
Ticonderoga rested his chin on his knees, his hands hanging down, and said, "That's all you know."
Su Xia suddenly remembered a sentence - Lolita, the light of my life, the fire of my desire. My sin, my soul. Lo-li-ta: The tip of the tongue is raised, in three steps, from the upper palate down to the teeth. Lo. Lita.
Su Xia got angry and said, "When I was in junior high school, I finished reading the classical Chinese version of Journey to the West, which was as thick as a dictionary, as well as Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Water Margin, all in classical Chinese. I admit that I didn't read Dream of the Red Chamber because I couldn't get into it."
Ticonderoga put his hands on his knees, rested his chin on his forearms, and said, "Let's assume that you finished reading the four great classics in junior high school. What did you read in high school? What did you read in college? What did you read after becoming an admiral?"
Su Xia thought, I started playing World of Warcraft in high school, continued playing World of Warcraft in college, and then started playing mobile games.
Su Xia pursed her lips, looked around, then stood up and reached out to Hancock.
Hancock was confused and asked, "Why are you reaching out to me, Admiral?"
Su Xia had no expression on her face.
"Let's go to the room and read." Su Xia looked at Ticonderoga, "so that no one can disturb us."
"I'll go too." Ticonderoga sat cross-legged on , holding his feet with both hands, "Let's watch it together."
Su Xia said: "I refuse."
"No," Hancock said coldly.
