Chapter 662: Lord of Qionghua Mountain (8)
In the southwestern region of Liangyi Heaven, there is a sacred mountain called "Qionghua".
Millions of years ago, there was an external immortal named 'Niangniang Qionghua' who attained enlightenment here. At that time, purple air filled the southern region, rosy clouds illuminated the sky, and white flowers fell from the sky. Countless cultivators in the southern region witnessed Niangniang Qionghua, along with her disciples, grabbing the palace of the Taoist temple with one hand and flying away.
Rumor has it that the true form of Queen Qionghua is a giant jade vein at the foot of Mount Qionghua.
For countless years, this beautiful jade vein has been gathering jade essence, which has blessed the heaven and earth, opened up spiritual wisdom, enabled one to embark on the path of Taoism, and ultimately achieved the Great Way.
The person has gone, but the beautiful jade vein at the foot of Mount Qionghua, which is equivalent to the transformation of the Taoist body of Qionghua Lady, has been left behind. It is also stained with some of the grace of heaven and earth from the enlightenment of Qionghua Lady, and thus has derived infinite mysteries.
The Qionghua Mountains stretch for 490 million miles, winding from west to east. The mountains along the way are handsome and elegant, and each peak looks like it is made up of petals. Each mountain has its own scene, and there are thousands of mountains and thousands of scenes. The scenery is indescribably magnificent, and there are endless Taoist wonders.
The main peak of Mount Qionghua is 3,600 miles high and covers an area of one million miles. It is located at the easternmost end of the mountain range, overlooking the west and the east, like the head of a giant dragon, spying on the core hinterland of the southern region and approaching the Big and Small Luo Mountains.
Liuxia River is a branch of Wuyou River in the Western Region of Buddhism. Its source is among the mountains in the extreme southwest. It winds northward all the way and passes just eight thousand miles east of the main peak of Qionghua Mountain. After running for tens of millions of miles, it merges into the Yuhua River, one of the main branches of Wuyou River in the north.
Thanks to the legacy of Queen Qionghua, the underground caves under Qionghua Mountain are rich in rare items such as the finest jade, jade crystals, chalcedony, and jade paste. Taoist immortals use them to make elixirs, and Buddhist practitioners use them to cultivate their bodies. They are all the best materials.
From time to time, one can pick jade ganoderma that is thousands or even tens of thousands of years old from the vast jade veins at the foot of Mount Qionghua.
This jade ganoderma, it is said, is derived from the Taoist energy left by the Queen Mother Qionghua and the essence of jade ore. If a mortal takes it, he can ascend to immortality in one step. If it is refined for a fetus still in the mother's womb, it can strengthen the foundation and open up several more major acupoints, or even dozens of extra meridian acupoints, to forge a high and wonderful Taoist body and innate Taoist foundation.
In the giant underground mineral veins of the Qionghua Mountains, there are wandering Yin caves from time to time. Some lucky people can dig out "Kun Lu Gold and Jade" from them. It is a rare treasure formed by the fusion of jade essence and a little innate Geng Jin and acquired Xin Jin.
Taoist sword immortals can use it to forge superb immortal swords.
If one truly practices Buddhism, one can also use it to refine supreme relics.
Even in this mine's Yin cave, two 'original jade fetuses' were born... This is a rare and precious spiritual treasure that is close to Yuanlingtian's 'World Original Fetus', which can be used to store the spirit and refine the clone.
The two original jade fetuses had sparked a bloody battle one hundred thousand years ago. Among the four forces of Taoism, Buddhism, demons, and evil monsters, hundreds of thousands of true immortals died in the battle for these two original jade fetuses in just three to five years!
Finally, one of the two jade fetuses fell into the hands of the Taoist court, and created the "Jade Purity God of War" that is well-known in the Taoist court today; the other fell into the hands of Buddhism, and created the "Pure and Immaculate Heavenly Goddess Bodhisattva" who is headed by the ten great Bodhisattvas of Buddhism today.
These two powerful men are terribly powerful.
The Jade Purity God of War once chased and slashed seven Buddhas with a sword, killing them so many that they flew all over the sky, covered in blood.
The Bodhisattva of Pure and Immaculate Heaven once broke into the Dao Court alone with bare hands, suppressed eight hundred Dao Court Immortals with a snap of her fingers, and knocked out all the teeth of a newly promoted Dao Court sage in public!
Anyway, they are all inhumane...
There are countless benefits to Mount Qionghua. On both sides of the Liuxia River, there are dense forests of thousand-year-old Qionghua flowers. The Qionghua flowers produced there are top-grade precious materials for alchemy. Both Taoist temples and Buddhist sects collect them every year.
The bottom of the Liuxia River is contaminated with the jade essence of the underground jade mines in Mount Qionghua. Although it is a freshwater river, it is rich in deep-sea giant clams. Moreover, the giant clams in the Liuxia River produce giant clam pearls and giant clam shells of astonishingly high quality.
These precious pearls and giant clams are both listed as the seven treasures of Buddhism. Using them to refine Buddhist treasures has great power and infinite magic.
However, after Empress Qionghua attained enlightenment and passed away, Qionghua Mountain has been occupied by the evil demons from the southern region for countless years.
For many years, the Taoist and Buddhist sects had to pay astronomical prices if they wanted to share some of the natural treasures from Mount Qionghua.
Three thousand years ago, after the Taoist and Buddhist sects joined forces to destroy the evil forces in the southern region, the Taoist sect took the lead and planted its flag in Mount Qionghua. The second disciple of the founder of the Hunyuan Luotian sect, Master Feizi, Lieque Zhenjun, set up a Taoist temple here.
Lie Que Zhenjun was a man of strong character and stubbornness. He was hostile to Buddhism, and his magical powers were so profound that ordinary Buddhist Bodhisattvas were no match for him. He monopolized the products of Qionghua Mountain and Liuxia River, and sold them exclusively to the various sects in the Taoist temple, making a fortune.
The Buddhist disciples wanted to get the rare specialties here again... but they couldn't get them even after paying a high price.
There are often Buddhist disciples who sneak into the jade mines under the Qionghua Mountain, or sneak into the bottom of the Liuxia River to steal resources... Zhenjun Lieque dispatched a large number of people to patrol all directions, and conflicts often broke out with these Buddhist disciples who sneaked into the country!
Over the past three thousand years, the blood of countless Buddhist disciples has been shed at the foot of Mount Qionghua and along the banks of the Liuxia River.
This time, Monk Yuanjue took advantage of the battle in the Qingming Void to ambush and kill True Lord Liexu, and forced Feizi to hand over the land deeds of Qionghua Mountain and Liuxia River jointly issued by the Taoist Court and the Buddhist Sect.
From a legal perspective, Qionghua Mountain and Liuxia River now belong to Buddhism, to Dajue Temple, and to Monk Yuanjue!
At this moment, the Taoist and Buddhist land deeds of Qionghua Mountain and Liuxia River have already been refined by Lu Yi.
Standing on the top of Qionghua Mountain and looking towards the east, thousands of miles away, the Liuxia River, which is ten thousand miles wide, is surging from south to north.
Around Lu Yi were the three Qingyou girls, more than a hundred close confidants including A'hu and Yu'dianhu, the monk Shenzui, the Jieying Tou Tuo, and a group of devout Buddhist disciples including Jishengtian and Yuanlingtian.
There are also nearly a thousand members of the Lu clan who are dressed as monks, but their eyes and eyebrows have the slickness and shrewdness of street businessmen!
Everyone followed Lu Yi a little nervously and excitedly, also looking towards the east.
To the east of Mount Qionghua and to the west of Liuxia River, there are towns and cities everywhere, with thriving populations. Above the towns and cities one can see the atmosphere of peace and harmony. This is an extremely rich and gorgeous land, a true paradise on earth and a magnificent sight.
From here to the west, it is nearly 500 million miles, and now it is all under the name of Lu Yi, and it is the Taoist temple he is responsible for guarding.
All the people in this fertile land are at his mercy.
All the resources of this fertile land are at his disposal.
With such a vast territory and countless people, every ten years, Lu Yi only needs to hand over three thousand Buddhist practitioners with extraordinary qualifications to Dajue Temple.
With such a vast territory and unlimited resources, Lu Yi only needs to pay 60% of all output resources to Dajue Temple every ten years.
All other gains, whether disciples or resources, are at his disposal and no one can restrain him.
The sound of golden bells and jade chimes continued, and the wind chimes carved from beautiful jade vibrated in the wind, making clear and resounding sounds.
In all directions, countless Buddhist warriors were displaying their magical powers. Balls of golden light and mist swept up the elegant and graceful buildings and dismantled them into their original materials.
One after another, heavy, ancient, majestic and powerful Buddhist temples and halls descended from the sky, according to the mountain topography and the distribution of the battle array, and landed with a rumbling sound on key locations such as mountain tops, canyons, deep pools and streams, and foothills of mountains.
Mount Qionghua has been occupied by True Lord Lieque for three thousand years. The main peak of Mount Qionghua is True Lord Lieque's main temple. All buildings and cave furnishings are naturally designed in accordance with True Lord Lieque's aesthetic taste.
The aesthetic tastes of Taoist immortals and Buddhist masters are obviously quite biased.
The Taoism of Liang Yi Tian emphasizes purity, refinement, elegance and ingenuity, and believes in following the laws of nature, peace and harmony. Every building and every cave should be integrated into the surrounding mountains and rivers, and be completely natural without any trace of worldly air.
The Buddhist architecture of Liangyitian is grand, majestic, majestic, and solemn, which makes people feel awe. Especially the Dajue Temple, which inherited the true Dharma of the Prison-Suppressing Xuanguang Buddha, this building is also derived from the word "prison-suppressing".
These palace buildings that descended from the sky can be built as big as they can be, as high as they can be, and as majestic and overbearing as they can be. The carvings on the exterior of the palaces and pagodas can be as majestic and powerful as they can be.
Without mentioning other palaces and pavilions, let's just talk about the 108-story pagoda that stands upright at the highest point of the main peak of Qionghua Mountain. It was drawn , based on the prototype of the Prison-Suppressing Pagoda he condensed, and took three months of hard work by several great Buddhist masters to create...
The pagoda has 108 floors, each floor is a hundred feet high, and the bottom floor covers an area of several miles. The pagoda is dark gold in color and extremely thick. Each floor of the pagoda is blessed by the powerful Prison-Suppressing Buddha Xuanguan himself!
This pagoda is pointed at the main peak of Mount Qionghua. Within a million miles, the Prison-Suppressing Force Field will crush and shock everything. Unless you are a Buddhist cultivator who practices the "Prison-Suppressing Sutra" of the Dajue Temple, not to mention the Taoist Immortals, even Buddhist disciples from other branches will be ruthlessly suppressed once they step into this range. Every step you take will be as if a hundred mountains are falling on your head, smashing you to the point of making your bones weak and your muscles numb, and vomiting blood!
So strong and so domineering!
Lu Yi played with the string of powerful Buddhist beads and looked quietly towards the east.
Faintly, on the east bank of the Liuxia River, dozens of flags and banners were seen emitting strange lights. Occasionally, there were auspicious auras soaring into the sky, creating all kinds of strange sights in the sky.
Lu Yi said softly, "That's not right. According to the land deed, the east bank of Liuxia River, thousands of miles of land, is also my Taoist temple... Why did the Hunyuan Luotian Sect set up a forbidden altar by the river? Tsk, isn't this occupying thousands of miles of my territory out of thin air? That's not right."
Jieyin Tou Tuo clasped his hands together and said softly, "This is just a show of power. He is worthy of death... May Buddha have mercy on me."
Lu Yi pinched the Buddhist beads and smiled: "Let's get our feet firmly on the ground first, then we can deal with them. Tsk..."
Lu Yi touched his sleeve. The gold hairpin inlaid with seven gems, of ordinary style and material, which looked very ordinary, was lying quietly in his sleeve.
"My Buddha, be merciful!"
