Volume 14: The Universe at 23 Degrees Celsius Chapter 18: Reality (Part 1)
When his heart was pierced, Li Lin’s first thought was not surprise, but that it was as expected.
After all, you get used to this kind of thing after you have experienced it. To be honest, the feeling of a sharp weapon piercing your body is a bit strange and exciting. At least Li Lin doesn't want to stand up and scare the two . Instead, he lies on the cold floor and quietly watches the swords and shadows above.
Ashura's style was simple and unadorned, with each punch, palm and kick having amazing power and control. However, he didn't seem to want to make things too big, instead he dodged and evaded, using his fists and feet to hit Reinhardt's shoulders, showing a very high fighting quality and level. At least in Li Lin's perception, although Ashura's power level was far lower than Reinhardt's due to his serious injury, the two sides were evenly matched.
At least in Li Lin's perception, Reinhardt had revealed a somewhat gloomy expression, gnashing his teeth as he watched the Asura shuttling back and forth in the small room. Meanwhile, the combat power player, Bo Xun, simply took her fruit bowl that she almost never finished and ran under the table to squat, accompanying Li Lin's body, quietly watching the two strong men fighting in mid-air. It can be said that she completely met the definition of a spectator, going along with Li Lin, who was just idling around, watching the excitement without thinking it was a big deal, and occasionally throwing things like recovery and recklessness into it to enhance the viewing effect.
How could these two people know that a figure of the Void Lord's level had nothing to do but watch them fight for fun? The two of them only felt that the opponent's strength was unfathomable. This guy was so terrifying that he must not be allowed to stay. Instead, the fight became more intense and tense, and even Li Lin couldn't help but secretly cheer.
Okay, hit him, beat him fucking, yes, hit him on the head, wonderful!
Li Lin, lying dead on the ground, watched the entire fight scene, constantly cheering for both sides in his mind.
It was obvious that, just like in a normal martial arts fight in a novel, no one else would get in the way when two people were dueling. The people outside seemed to have issued some instructions, and they didn't intend to come in after hearing the fighting inside. The remaining Li Lin and Boxun just watched the show and had no intention of joining in.
The two men, one young and energetic, and the other seriously injured, fought evenly. However, as time passed, Ashura 's physical strength gradually improved, and Reinhardt's actions changed from mostly attacking to mostly defending. Seeing the situation improve in his direction, Ashura, who had been poisoned by Li Lin's blood without knowing when, laughed loudly and posed in a very coquettish manner.
"Hahahaha! I'm so excited! It's too weak, really too weak!"
The air was filled with blood, and the naked Ashura's muscles were trembling. A philosophical light shone on the cracked lines. He laughed loudly at Reinhard, who was already in difficulty.
"I can even see all your attack trajectories clearly! I can even know what your next move will be! The only reason you can fight me now is because I am seriously injured. With the nourishment of that person's blood, I will continue to recover, and you will continue to weaken! So put down your resistance, isn't it good to be my servant at ease!"
"Do you think I would join a group of destroyers?! You underestimate me, Ashura!"
Reinhard growled, glaring at the laughing Ashura.
"Although I'm not particularly strong, I know what a human being should do! I also know how to show my integrity in front of monsters like you! The hymn of wisdom is the hymn of courage! I will never surrender even if I die!"
"What can you do with just your mind? What can you do with just your shouting? You can't do anything with just your mind!"
"You bastard! I must kill you today to avenge my innocent friend who died!"
After taking a look at Li Lin, who was lying on the ground with blood flowing out but for some reason seemed to have a piece of melon in his mouth, Reinhardt roared in grief and anger, picked up the sword and rushed forward. With such momentum, he was able to fight on equal terms with Li Lin in a short period of time.
The heavy sword kept hammering at Asura's iron-like body, and the light and dark lines around it began to vibrate slightly. Looking at Reinhardt, who was rushing towards him with his two-handed sword like a demon, Asura showed a look of frustration and began to dodge. He was not strong enough to begin with, but he learned to taunt others, and ended up drawing out his bottom strength in advance. Now it was difficult to fight him.
However, the two who were having a great time fighting on the top did not pay any attention to the crowd and abnormal phenomena under the table because they were hit by a series of retardation spells. As if Asura had killed his entire family, Reinhardt rushed up with a roar of grief and anger, and the fight was ping-pong. Because of the reason for playing too much, Asura himself was seriously injured and could not fight such a war of attrition. He could only continue to move on the ground with a dark face, constantly letting the terrifying two-handed sword compress his dodging space, and he was almost forced into the corner.
While watching the Asura constantly dodging with a cautious look on his face, Bo Xun, who was eating a melon, suddenly transmitted a stream of messages in the void to Li Lin, who was lying on the ground reading a novel.
'What do you think? That Asura.'
"What do you think? It seems to be the same. What? Are you suddenly interested in this creature?"
'Yes. Very interested.'
Bo Xun squatted on Li Lin's body and took a bite of the melon. His dark red eyes stared straight at Ashura who was laughing wildly in the room and started to call Ola Reinhardt. The voice imprinted in Li Lin's mind seemed to have a bit of a weird color.
'Because no matter what, in terms of information flow, the appearance of Ashura is completely different from you real creatures. It is also different from the players, and it is also different from the local residents. It is a completely different information configuration. I think that Reinhardt may be right in at least one point... Ashura may really be from the outside universe.'
"Huh? Are you serious? Ashura is from the outer universe?"
'I have no idea.'
Staring at the Asura's skin which had turned bronze like a machine, Po Xun shook his head, took a bite of the melon, and looked at him with squinting .
'All I know is that the way his information flows are entangled is different from that of players, creatures, plants, iron ore, or other things in this universe. It seems that, how should I put it, if the devil is pure evil and the holy light is pure good, then his soul is composed of 99% evil and 1% good... How strange, generally speaking, wouldn't this cause him to self-destruct?'
Po Xun looked at the aggrieved Asura and muttered something strange.
