Volume 3: The Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors Chapter 436: Fuxi Becomes a Disciple

Xishan, early morning.
The morning glow is brilliant, like scattered gold, bathing people in warmth.
Fuxi followed Huaxu to meet the teacher he had been thinking about day and night.
In the quiet room, a lotus lantern was swaying, and a man in a green shirt was sitting quietly. On the table were two or three cups and a jade pot with tea in it, emitting a faint fragrance.
Fuxi imitated Huaxu and saluted Mingyu.
His eyes were round and full of spirituality, with a bit of curiosity and expectation. Fuxi looked at the gentleman in front of him, and an inexplicable sense of intimacy arose in his heart.
"You are the sir?"
"I am the sir."
The man in green robe smiled faintly, and his voice as gentle as jade fell into Fuxi's ears, dispelling the last trace of tension in his heart.
Seeing that the teacher was easy-going, little Fuxi gradually became bolder.
"You look familiar, sir."
“A lot of people feel that way.”
"Sir, do you know a lot of people?"
“A lot of people know me.”
"Well, then, isn't that very impressive, sir?"
"Not bad, but there are many people in the sky and on earth who are more powerful than me."
"The sum of the heaven and earth is not small, but what about the space between heaven and earth?"
"That's a good question. Don't ask it next time."
"Why?"
“Because telling the truth hurts.”
Mingyu shook her head, took a cup of tea, and sipped it with her sleeves.
Little Fuxi blinked, he understood.
"I don't believe it."
He felt that the teacher was taking advantage of his youth and trying to scare him.
Mingyu glanced at him and said, "If you don't believe it, then don't believe it. I'm not asking you to believe it."
“…”
Little Fuxi stared.
He was very ashamed. It turned out that the gentleman was so down-to-earth. No wonder he could know so many people.
Hua Xu on the side covered her mouth and laughed. She had known her husband for three years, but had never seen him behave in such a way.
Mingyu asked little Fuxi to come closer and then placed a cup of tea in his hand.
"Thank you, sir."
Little Fuxi took it and was about to drink it. The fragrance had been tickling his nose for a long time, and he was very greedy.
Hua Xu understood what he meant and stopped him, saying, "Xi'er, is this for Mr. Jing?"
Little Fuxi looked at Mingyu at a loss, and when he saw her nod, he handed it back reluctantly.
"Sir, you have your own way. If you want to drink, just drink. Why bother with this?"
Mingyu's hand trembled as she took the teacup.
"You must practice with me, worship me as your master, and offering tea is the etiquette."
Little Fuxi asked: "Who set such troublesome etiquette?"
"No one made it, it's just a convention."
"Oh, then I won't date!"
Little Fuxi withdrew his hand, tilted his head back, and drank the tea himself.
At the end, she stuck out her cute tongue and licked her lips, as if she was still not satisfied.
"Xi'er!"
Hua Xu exclaimed that such behavior was extremely rude.
He was fine on weekdays, why did he become so carefree and casual when he came to Xishan to see you?
Hua Xu looked anxious. She was afraid that her master would blame her, so she wanted to step forward and apologize.
But Mingyu laughed out loud.
"Hahahaha, what a unique personality. I like it."
He stared at Fuxi, assessing him, and confirming that he hadn't awakened his wisdom, nodded and said, "If you don't want to make an appointment, then don't make one. These red tapes are just for show. If you don't drink this tea, do you think I will refuse you entry?"
When Hua Xu heard this, his expression softened and he felt relieved.
"Hey, thank you sir."
Little Fuxi still bowed.
Mingyu smiled.
"Mother said that the master is a learned man. I wonder what he wants to teach me?"
"What do you want to learn from me?"
"Qin!"
Little Fuxi answered firmly.
Mingyu nodded, "What else?"
Little Fuxi frowned and thought for a moment, then his eyes lit up and he said with a smile: "Whatever the teacher knows, I will learn from him!"
"You're not picky, aren't you afraid of getting too full?" Mingyu joked.
He waved his hand, and the vast Taoist canon emerged.
Little Fuxi was very confident. He raised his chin slightly and said, "My mother said that I am the smartest child she has ever seen. I learn everything quickly. I will definitely learn everything that the teacher can teach me!"
Hua Xu turned her head away gently.
Mingyu smiled and said, "Then I'll do the same as your mother. I'll start by teaching you the zither."
He stood up and walked outside the meditation room.
Little Fuxi and Huaxu followed.
Several people came to the edge of a clear pond with a hanging spring and waterfall above. The water fell into the pond with a clear and pleasant sound like a piece of music.
A pavilion was built here with a copper bell hanging on the octagonal side. Little Fuxi sat in the pavilion. The moment he looked up, he seemed to see mysterious patterns, which were fascinating and he couldn't take his eyes off them.
"Come back to your senses!"
Mingyu called out softly.
Little Fuxi finally woke up with a start, his head feeling dizzy.
"Sir, what is that?"
"I just carved it casually. When the time comes , you will naturally understand it." A wisp of fresh air floated from Mingyu's fingers. Little Fuxi took a sniff and felt much more comfortable immediately.
He is just a smart toddler now.
Mingyu shook her head slightly, then sat cross-legged on the qin.
Seeing this, little Fuxi happily took his own zither from his mother.
Hua Xu smiled faintly and continued playing the piano as usual.
Suddenly, a warm breeze blew around the clear pond, the water in the pond gurgled, and the dead leaves came back to life, full of vitality.
The vitality attracted butterflies in the forest, which flew and danced. One butterfly landed on the nose of little Fuxi, causing him to sneeze.
"Ah Qiu!"
With a startled cry, thousands of butterflies swarmed away.
The wind blows over the clear pond, and the sound of the piano lingers, like a dream.
"Qian'er, come here for a while."
Teacher Rong Chengzi's voice fell into Qing Qian's ears.
"teacher!"
Qing Gan bowed his hand towards Rong Chengzi.
"Have you had any doubts about cultivating Qi recently?" Rong Chengzi was very concerned about him and often helped him to answer his questions.
Seeing this, Qing Qian secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
He thought that he had upset his teacher by going out to play recently.
"I have never encountered any difficulties. I have memorized the method of nourishing Qi taught by Master. I have been practicing the method of eating the clouds and drawing in the Qi without any delay. Today, I seem to have gained some insights."
Qing Qian thought about it, spread out his chubby palms, and then grabbed twice, and a ball of light air appeared in his palms.
Upon seeing this, Rong Chengzi jumped up, with unstoppable surprise in his eyes.
"It's only been three days, and you've already accomplished it?"
He repeatedly checked the ball of energy in Qing Qian's hand, and after confirming it, he was very excited.
"Oh, it worked, it really worked!"
Rong Chengzi walked back and forth in the cave, unable to control his emotions.
Qing Qian was puzzled. It shouldn't be difficult to cultivate a ball of qi, right?
Is it really necessary to be so excited?
Rong Chengzi saw his confusion and said with a smile, "Qian'er, you don't understand! My Qi-cultivation method involves a major matter of our clan. It's very special and has never been taught to anyone else. You are the first person besides me to have mastered it!"
"ah?"
Qing Qian stared at Rong Chengzi in a daze.
Have you never taught others?
So you are using me as a test subject!
