Volume 7: Frost Chapter 16 Coconut
The visit to the institute was scheduled for Wednesday.
The specific schedule was to gather at the institute at 9:30 in the morning, listen to the introduction in the morning, then have lunch, and visit the project in the afternoon. When Jiang You saw this arrangement, he immediately said that he had made an appointment with a specialist to see his knee that day. Tang Butian knew that he didn't want to get up early, so she didn't say it out loud, and asked him to take good care of his illness.
On Wednesday, Jiang You woke up and went to the hospital, registered, and saw a specialist. The doctor wrote him an order for an MRI scan, which would be available in half a month. So Jiang You paid the fee and went back.
He ate a full meal first to calm his nerves.

"Lao Lin, would you like some coconuts? I just bought some." Jiang You walked towards the kitchen. "I'll open some for you."
Lin Yu came out from behind the counter and stood by the kitchen door and said, "Guan Nuo's mother came to see you this morning."
"Where is she now?"
"I asked her to sit for a while, but she said she would come back after taking a walk."
Jiang You tapped the hole of the coconut shell with a kitchen knife, found a straw, inserted it, and turned to hand it to Lin Yu, "What did she say she wanted to see me for?"
Lin Yu took the coconut and shook his head. "She didn't say."
"Then let's wait until she comes." Jiang You walked out of the kitchen, pulled out a chair and sat down.
"How is your knee?" Lin Yu asked.
"The doctor asked me to take an MRI, and it's scheduled for next month," Jiang You touched his knee, then said, "I bought a fitness ring, which arrived today. It's said to help reduce belly fat, so I plan to try harder before the summer is over ."
After Jiang You and Lin Yu chatted for a while, he saw out of the corner of his eye a woman holding a parasol walking across the yard and into the store. It was Guan Qingtong.
Jiang You stood up.
Before Jiang You could speak, Guan Qingtong said, "I'm here for Meng Xianyang's case."
"My tenant? What happened to him?"
"It's his grandfather, Meng Yuanbai." Guan Qingtong took out her mobile phone from her handbag and clicked on a photo. She had taken it of the small piece of paper clipped in Xie Dong's notebook.

"In Panyang."
"Let's go upstairs and talk. I bought some coconuts. Do you want some coconut water?"
"Just clean water."
"Then you go up first."
Guan Qingtong walked up the stairs and looked around Jiang You's studio, which was unusually tidy.
Soon, Jiang You came up with two glasses of water. He placed the water on the workbench, pulled out a chair, and sat down behind the workbench.
