Volume 7: The Strongest Four Realms Chapter 23 Three Bowls of Chicken Soup

The Mogao Desert covers an area of thousands of miles and has a vast border.
After Lu Qingshan entered Mogao, in the world of cultivation without the so-called Beidou satellite, even the underworld could not block all the borders of Mogao.
They would not do anything so beyond their capabilities.
Their choice was to deploy personnel in major cities on the border of Mogao to encircle Lu Qingshan, especially in the state capitals where cross-domain teleportation arrays were set up, where demons gathered.
The reason is simple.
You, Lu Qingshan, are not from the Western Regions. Although I don’t know why, you left the Eastern Regions and entered the Mogao Desert in the Western Regions.
But once the matter is settled, one must return to the sect.
If he wants to return to the sect, he cannot escape from this cross-domain teleportation array.
Between the Eastern Region and the Western Region, there is an endless ocean and the three regions of Central China, which is vast and far-reaching for countless miles.
If one wants to cross domains without the inter-domain teleportation array, it would be difficult for a mere Nascent Soul cultivator, let alone a seventh-level Fusion cultivator.
The underworld is confident.
To the west of the Mogao Desert, it is still a desolate land, and Daxia has not established any city in this desolate land.
The Xisha Plateau is located 5,000 miles west of the Mogao Desert.
In this western region dominated by desert, the Xisha Plateau is like an isolated island in the sea of sand, and it is a veritable "big island continent".
Although the Xisha Plateau is vast and sparsely populated, the total population exceeds 10 million. Compared with the sea of sand, it is considered a treasure land.
In such a precious land , there is only one sect of cultivation.
Dragon Elephant Chicken Soup Temple.
On the plateau, millions of ordinary people are simple and devoted to Buddhism. There are Buddhist shrines in their homes and they burn incense to worship them.
There is a small Buddhist temple every ten miles and a large Buddhist temple every hundred miles.
Of course, this territory was not gained by the Buddha's grace, but was won through real strength.
There are thirty-six temples and seventy-two temples in the four academies of Longxiang. Among the thirty-six temples, the Chicken Soup Temple is in the first echelon in terms of strength, second only to the four supreme academies.
The abbot of the Chicken Soup Temple, Monk Chicken Soup, was once rated as a Buddhist saint by the Tianji Guantian List when he was in the seventh realm. He sang: The body of the great Vajra is invincible and indestructible, and the righteous words of Buddhism can subdue dragons and snakes.
That’s all.
The center of the Xisha Plateau is the greenest place on the plateau. Of course, it cannot be compared with the eastern and southern regions where "the flowers on the river are redder than fire at sunrise and the river water is green as blue in spring". It is just a forest of yellow-green drought-resistant shrubs with extremely tenacious vitality.
This is also the highest geographical location on the Xisha Plateau.
Because the place is too high and the air is thin, there are not many mortals living here.
Chicken Soup Temple is located here.
It was a magnificent Buddhist temple that reflected golden light in the sun, even brighter than the sun.
On this day, in the sparsely populated Chicken Soup Temple, the practicing monks discovered that the temple had welcomed two guests.
The youngest monk in the temple went out of the temple and brought back an unconscious young man and a woman with a noble temperament.
This made the monks stunned:
Our little monk is a bit wild!
Of course, they only dared to think about it in their hearts.
Because although the small monk is "small", his status is very high.
Lu Qingshan regained consciousness vaguely.
He did not open his eyes at first, but first carefully felt his own condition.
It was a completely different feeling than when I woke up from my last coma.
The last time I woke up, my whole body ached and it felt terrible.
This time when I woke up, I felt warm all over, as if I had soaked in a hot spring.
Between the eyebrows, there is a sharp blood-red edge.
He finally achieved his first state of perfection.
Killing sword intent.
It is said that the killing sword intent that emphasizes killing and the sword cultivator who is the best at killing are like white radish and mutton, a match made in heaven. There is indeed some truth in it.
The entire process of his sword intent of killing rising from the weak state to the perfect state could be said to be a natural process, without encountering any major setbacks.
But how could such a serious injury caused by holding on forcibly be healed in such a way?
Although Lu Qingshan was happy, he was also confused.
He slowly opened his eyes and found himself lying on an exquisitely carved sandalwood bed.
The first thing that caught his eye was Qin Yitian's beautiful face, with joy in her delicate eyes.
Then came a shining bald head...it was Juezhen.
"Young Master..." Qin Yitian hesitated to speak.
"The abbot said that you would wake up today, and it turned out to be true." Juezhen said with joy in his tone.
Although it was just a few words, Lu Qingshan roughly deduced his current situation based on the surrounding environment and his own condition.
"Thank you, little master, for saving me." Lu Qingshan slowly stood up and said in a hoarse voice.
"The donor's heart is like that of Buddha. In our Buddhist community, we should respect all Buddhas." Juezhen smiled shyly and then handed over a white bowl.
The bowl contained a golden liquid that had solidified and looked like chicken soup cooked over high heat.
"What is this?" Lu Qingshan was puzzled.
"Our temple is named Chicken Soup Temple, and the most famous thing about it is this bowl of 'chicken soup', which can cure all diseases and revive bones. When Mr. Lu was unconscious, I asked Miss Qin to give him two bowls of 'chicken soup'. This is the last bowl." Juezhen smiled shyly.
Cross over?
Lu Qingshan was surprised and couldn't help but glance at Qin Yitian who lowered his brows.
Qin Yitian's earlobes turned slightly red.
But he quietly took the white bowl from Juezhen's hand, sat down beside the bed, and considerately supported Lu Qingshan, feeding him the bowl of chicken soup, the temple's treasure.
A warm current flows through the whole body as the chicken soup enters the throat.
Lu Qingshan only felt that the blood and energy in his body was erupting like a volcano, suddenly rising and burning.
He looked inside and found that at this moment, the meridians in his body were surrounded by a faint golden light, and the flowing blood was even mixed with a hint of light gold.
After drinking this bowl of "chicken soup", both the meridians and one's own qi and blood will be greatly benefited.
"Mr. Lu, please take a rest for a while and come to the main hall. The abbot has some suggestions for you." Juezhen gave instructions and then retreated tactfully.
Lu Qingshan seemed to be thinking about something.
After Juezhen left the room, Qin Yitian seemed to have telepathic connection with Lu Qingshan and told him what happened after the day in Hulu Canyon without Lu Qingshan asking.
"That day, when the young master was able to subdue and repel the group of sand wolf monsters and his energy backfired and he fell into a coma, Master Juezhen arrived at the right time."
"My young master said that your Qi is like a flood that has burst its banks, and it is leaking out along the path of murderous intent. If you don't regulate it, it will soon be gone. And you saved the Sheep tribe with your own body, and you showed the courage of a Buddha when you forgot yourself. This is really a great kindness. I want to make a good relationship with you, so I brought you back to the Chicken Soup Temple. The abbot of the Chicken Soup Temple, after learning about you, gave you three bowls of chicken soup to relieve your Qi."
Qin Yitian stood gracefully and continued, "Although the group of sand wolf monsters have been temporarily subdued by you, they may come back after a while. Without you, the people of the Sheep tribe will be destroyed. Master Juezhen said that this is a good fate for you. If we just ignore it, it will go against the will of Buddha. So after Master Juezhen returned to the temple, he asked the monks in the temple to use the Buddha's light to ferry all the people of the Sheep tribe to the Xisha Plateau, and they will settle down a hundred miles west of Jitang Temple. So you can rest assured."
Lu Qingshan nodded slightly, feeling an indescribable feeling in his heart.
After drinking this last bowl of "chicken soup", the energy in his body has already stretched out like the waves of Fengling, one wave after another, and his physical condition has long recovered to its best.
He slowly stood up and said, "This time I am here to accept the great favor of Master Abbot and Junior Master Juezhen. Let me go meet Master Abbot first."
Qin Yitian helped Lu Qingshan to the main hall of Jitang Temple.
After receiving three bowls of chicken soup from Chicken Soup Temple, I naturally wanted to express my gratitude in person.
The Mahavira Sutra is solemn and dignified.
An old monk in the hall was the abbot of Chicken Soup Temple, the Chicken Soup Saint Monk.
A dignified Saint Monk of the Eighth Realm would actually meet in person with him, a former Nascent Soul cultivator who had lost all his cultivation.
This treatment made Lu Qingshan feel somewhat flattered.
"I am Lu Qingshan from the Sword Sect, nice to meet you, Master Monk." Lu Qingshan entered the main hall and bowed deeply to the old monk with sincerity.
A strong Buddhist aura had already hit him since he stepped into the temple.
Surrounded by this aura, Lu Qingshan seemed to hear the Bodhisattva chanting sutras in his ears, the Buddha radiating his light to save all, and the Arhat admonishing him, advising him that his murderous intent was too strong and that he should lay down his butcher knife as soon as possible and become a Buddha right away.
This is certainly not the chicken soup monk targeting him, or a show of force.
It is actually this Great Hall where countless eminent monks have chanted Buddha's name, attained enlightenment, and achieved enlightenment over thousands of years. Thus, a Buddhist force is brewing here and cannot be shaken off.
This Buddhist force does not have any malicious intent.
But after thousands of years of influence, it is also extremely powerful. If an ordinary person enters here, he will inevitably fall into the Buddha's barrier for a while.
Lu Qingshan, however, was as calm as usual, with nothing to worry about.
The old monk looked at Lu Qingshan.
He knew very well that Lu Qingshan had lost all his cultivation at this time, so it was naturally impossible for him to use his spiritual power to resist this great force of Buddhism.
People who believe in Buddhism will not reject the trend of Buddhism, just like fish entering water, they will blend in naturally.
But the sword cultivator in front of him has perfected his killing sword intent and his heart is determined. There is no doubt about it. It is obviously impossible for him to abandon the ideals of kendo and believe in Buddhism.
Excluding both situations, Lu Qingshan can still be so free and easy under the influence of Buddhism.
The old monk put his hands together, looked compassionate, and chanted Buddhist scriptures. "The donor is a person with wisdom. Good, good."
Coming from the mouth of the Holy Monk of the Eight Realms, these words are already a great evaluation.
Lu Qingshan was very calm.
It's really nothing.
The monks in the world, while firm in their determination to follow the Tao, often go to extremes, thinking that other doctrines are heretical and are quite repulsive and hostile.
Therefore, if someone who is not a Buddhist enters this main hall and is overshadowed by the great power of Buddhism, some repulsive reactions will naturally occur.
But Lu Qingshan is different.
Because his soul comes from the most inclusive great country and from an open era.
Under the influence of that environment, he has his own persistence and beliefs in his heart, but he will not reject other beliefs.
Even if you don't agree with other people's beliefs, you should still respect them.
This is the tolerance bestowed upon him by the times.
Only when a hundred flowers bloom can it be great.
Because of this tolerance, he can adapt to the general trend of Buddhism harmoniously and freely.
"Thank you, Master Abbot, for the three bowls of 'chicken soup'." Lu Qingshan thanked again.
"No need to be polite. You did it knowing that it was impossible. This shows your nature." The old monk looked kind and gentle, and said slowly, "Donor Lu, you have both Buddha nature and wisdom. Although you are not a Buddhist, you have the light of Buddha . It is nothing to teach you how to accumulate energy."
The old monk does not take credit for himself.
Lu Qingshan didn't care and bowed again.
The old monk did not hide, but accepted Lu Qingshan's bow.
When Lu Qingshan stood up, the Chicken Soup Saint Monk asked again, "I see that you have lost all your foundation in Taoism. I wonder why?"
Lu Qingshan did not hide the truth, "I cut it off myself."
"What does this mean?" The old monk was not surprised. He smiled and asked.
"In my early years of cultivation, when I was refining Qi and transforming it into essence, I didn't realize that a towering building had been erected from the ground up. There was a flaw in my foundation of Taoism. Now I can only try to make up for it."
"Mr. Lu is truly a brave man." The old monk praised again.
"Master, you are too kind," Lu Qingshan said self-deprecatingly, "If I had discovered it later, I might not have been willing to cut it with the sword."
The old monk smiled and said, "I see that you are very wise and brave, and you have the heart of a Buddha. I would like to establish another Buddhist relationship with you. I wonder if you are willing?"
Lu Qingshan looked serious for the first time and said with a folded hand: "I couldn't ask for more. Please teach me, holy monk."
The Chicken Soup Monk looked gentle and said slowly, "Do you know the origin of the name Longxiang Temple?"
"If you want to be the dragon and elephant of all Buddhas, you must first be the horse and cow of all sentient beings. This should come from this Buddhist verse (ji)," said Lu Qingshan.
The old monk nodded, "That's right. Before you can achieve Buddhahood, you must first bear the bitter fruit. So my Buddhist practice is famous for its solid foundation, bright prospects, but slow progress. The path of cultivation, the beginning of everything, is for oneself, and my Buddhist practice happens to be in line with the body cultivation, which implicitly fits the meaning of self-cultivation. With the combination of the two, although there are many Taoist-level practices in the Qi Refining Chapter of the major sects, my Dragon Elephant Qi Refining Practice is recognized as the best even among all the Taoist practices."
Lu Qingshan's heart moved, and he seemed to understand the implication of the chicken soup monk's words.
